Fit-for-Purpose Filtration Solutions

Carsons Group delivers a comprehensive range of filtration products and services — from large-scale mineral processing equipment through to precision liquid filtration for pharmaceutical and food applications. Each solution is selected and engineered to match your specific process conditions, with full local technical support from our on-the-ground team.

Filter Presses & Dewatering

Fully automatic filter presses from 1.4 m² to 1,450 m², providing high-performance solid-liquid separation for mining and mineral processing applications. Our range covers the full dewatering requirement from lab-scale to full production.

Includes thickeners, coagulant plants, slurry pumps, filter plates and filter cloth. We supply and commission complete dewatering systems with ongoing support for spares, plate replacements and membrane upgrades.

Flotation Technology

Column flotation systems, sparge lances, Atomix in-line mixers, gas injection equipment and flotation concentrators for copper, lead, zinc and sulphide mineral applications. Suitable for both new installations and retrofits on existing flotation circuits.

Our flotation technology portfolio covers the complete process from rougher through to cleaner circuits, with proven performance across Southern Africa’s major base metal and precious metal operations.

Precision Filter Media

Industrial filter mesh, fabricated filter media, dust bags for pulse-jet and reverse air collectors. All filter media is engineered to specification — matching the precise technical requirements of each application, from high-temperature mineral processing to food-grade liquid filtration.

We supply filter media across a wide range of materials including polyester, polypropylene, PTFE, fibre glass and stainless steel, in woven, non-woven and membrane configurations.

Filtration Consultancy

Specialist filtration consultancy for pleated depth, membrane, resin-bonded, liquid bag and high-flow filtration systems. Our engineers provide independent technical guidance on cartridge and bag filtration selection, troubleshooting and process optimisation.

Advisory services cover food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical and industrial applications — with full process audit capability and lifecycle cost analysis to support capital and operational decision-making.

Liquid Process Filtration

Pleated depth, resin bonded and pleated membrane cartridges; liquid filter bags and high-flow cartridges for demanding process applications. Filter vessels supplied in single and multi-element configurations for food, beverage, pharmaceutical and industrial use.

Our liquid process filtration range covers absolute and nominal ratings from 0.1 to 200 microns, with housings in polypropylene, stainless steel 316L and duplex, designed to ASME and PED standards as required.

Centrifuges & Legacy Spares

Industrial centrifuges with flows up to 180 L/min at 10 micron nominal filtration — ideal for clean-in-place applications, oily water separation and high-viscosity liquid clarification in industrial environments.

We also provide a comprehensive legacy spares service for filtration equipment across all major brands. Our refurbishment capability covers filter plate replacement, membrane upgrades, seal kits and control system modernisation — extending equipment life and reducing total cost of ownership.
